Format and Referencing

We intend to accept submissions in any format, sometimes called ‘free format submissions’. Authors will be expected to format their article after it has been accepted for publication. Our only stipulations are that the text should be 1.5 or 2 spaced, in a sans serif font of at least 11 or 12 points, with all illustrations, figures, and tables placed within the text at the appropriate points rather than at the end.

We accept any in-text author date referencing system (e.g. Harvard, APA, Chicago). Reviewers are expected to be aware of the legitimate variations between such referencing styles when reviewing manuscripts. We expect the chosen style to be used consistently and applied accurately within the text. The only referencing styles we will not accept are footnote and endnote, for reasons of formatting.

There is no limit to the number of figures and tables, which can be in any colour range (bearing accessibility and clarity in mind). All figures and tables must either be original to the authors, or have appropriate attribution and/or usage rights & permissions in line with global copyright norms.

Authors will be asked to format their manuscripts according to the Journal’s template (available here) once it has been accepted for publication.
